A couple of days ago we covered the first segment of this beautiful shoot by Make My Day Planning and Lisa Silva Photography. Shot in July with about 103 degrees outside, the shoot was broken into 2 segments; the afternoon and the evening. Today we continue with the second segment – the mid summer romance evening segment.
The evening segment uses candlelight to create more romance. Liz Stewart Floral Design graciously donated a huge amount of candles to help the vision come to life and Rustic Rentals provided an outstanding amount of candlesticks and candelabras.
Mid Summer Romance Evening Segment – Part 2
Shot at the Coastal Occasions at Casa Bella Village which is an intimate venue with brick floors, large white shutter windows, and beautiful vines that grow everywhere; the location adds to romantic theme of the shoot with its “Old Florida” feel.
The stationery is one of our favorite parts of this shoot; Michele Perry Design hand painted the beautiful invitation suite with shades of blue, lilac, grey, and blush – soft and romantic colors!
Although farm tables have been a popular staple in certain styles of weddings, Tatum Pettrey wanted to change the norm. She brought a farm table into a brick paved venue with eclectic mantles and breathtaking vines. She implemented a very rare twist and paired silver chiavari chairs with the farm table. At each seat there was a place setting of a white dinner plate sitting under a white salad plate topped off with a dusty blue napkin folded into the perfect pocket to fit the silver flatware, all accompanied by a wine glass. All of these beautiful rentals were provided by Luxe Party Rentals. The bride and groom seats were draped with chiffon and displayed laser cut signs by Ten23 Designs.
To top off the table, Tatum Pettrey added hand lettered gray place cards created by The Lovely Letterist and breathtaking florals provided by 57 Treasury. The greenery that ran down the center of the farm table was Italian Ruscus and Eucalyptus. The table needed different levels, which is why the tall vases were placed at the ends and a short silver vase sat in the center.
The models (Brittney Bailey and Dylan Grabowski) are not only gorgeous and photogenic, but also have the most amazing chemistry; it’s hard to believe they are not a real couple! Brittney’s soft swept updo and fresh faced and romantic look was created by the lovely ladies at Studio Bride. The White Magnolia Jacksonville provided a stunning fairytale dress from Cristos and Brittney wore classic Badgley Mischka heels with just the right amount of bling. Dylan looked so dapper and handsome in his classic black and white tuxedo provided by Michael’s Formal Wear.
The dessert table provided by Mad Props sat in front of a gorgeous white shuttered window, which played a vital role in the bride and groom shots. For a twist to the traditional wedding cake options, the dessert table featured a Lemon and White Chocolate Raspberry bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a beautiful dainty three-tiered traditional cake by Choux Designer Cakes, which highlighted hand painted pink flowers. To top it off was the silver laser cut “Happily Ever After” cake topper made by Ten23 Designs and the wooden hand lettered “Love is Sweet” sign tied in with the farm table. It was created by The Lovely Letterist.
