Being a wedding blog that is utterly crazy about themed weddings, you can totally imagine KV’s hype about today’s Blue Moroccan Style wedding at the Deer Creek Golf Club by Samantha Ong Photography.
Scarlet and Stennette met while he was working at a barber shop. Scarlet had just moved to Toronto, wanting a fresh new do. Despite the rules about dating a client, Scarlet and Stennette started dating.
The couple chose to get married at Columbus United Church, a cute church with beautiful old architecture and stained glass. Their wedding reception at Deer Creek was decorated with their color scheme – shades of blue and grey. Scarlet wasn’t the kind of girl who daydreamed about her wedding, so when they decided to throw a wedding it was on the condition that it would be unique. Her choice of having a Moroccan Style was due to her love for the Moroccan/Arabic influence.
Scarlet wore a gorgeous Vera Wang dress with much thought put into as her family members invested hundreds of hours adding the beading onto it. She complemented it with a long cathedral veil made of shimmer tulle.
