So as many of you wedding lovers may have heard, the wedding color of the year has been revealed and if you are like me, it may take a while to sink in…but it finally would. Marsala is the color of the year 2015 and to be honest, I think it’s different. Coming from a year with the color being vibrant and bold (Radiant orchid), to a color all about warmth is quite a change. But they say change is good right?
Like I told KV’s Instagram family, the name marsala does remind me of food and for that I’d take it 🙂 However on a more serious note, this color seems to give a beautiful and stylish twist to a fall wedding and for that also, I’d take it!
“Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability. Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth.” – Leatrice EisemanExecutive Director, Pantone Color Institute
Here is a quick board I made for this color, a mix of reds and browns with that grey seemed like the perfect board to introduce Marsala to you all.

Question of the Post: So what do you think of Marsala being the color of the Year?
