About the Shabby Chic Elegant Wedding

Where: Florida | Colors: Blush, Grey, White, and Ivory | Theme: Shabby Chic, Elegance

At a beautiful white chapel located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL called The Chapel at Crosspoint, Nisha and her man became Mr & Mrs Waits. The reception was a quick 5 min scenic beach drive away at Celebration Hall. With it’s vaulted ceilings and rustic feel, Nisha was certain it was the perfect venue for the shabby chic + elegance look she was going for! Their colors were blush, grey, white, and ivory. They wanted to stick to the neutral tones and add in baby breath’s for a rustic feel but using mercury candles throughout to add an elegant feel.

Wedding Planning Advice

“My advice for future brides is to not stress and enjoy the planning. The day goes by so quickly you will regret not spending more time enjoying the process. My one piece of advice is to make sure to eat dinner on the wedding day! We were so consumed with talking with guests and taking sunset photos we did not take a second to sit and enjoy our own dinner meal!

My other piece of advice would be to budget, budget, budget! We did not realize how quickly things add up! We ended up with a final cost of $30,000 which we did not plan on!” – Nisha
